  • The infinite power of healing is in your own mind

All of us in the modern world have become host to ailments. While the sickness itself is not the enemy, the feeling of pain is. Sai says that this feeling of pain is an expression of your own mind.

When a person is suffering from health problems, his enemy is but, the fear of not being cured. This fear gradually branches out into worries about family, career being effected and financial problems. It is no rocket science that this compounding fear becomes the root cause of failing health.

FAITH is the answer to such ailments. With faith it is possible to over come fear and worries. This faith transcends into love for the almighty. This invisible thing called love deviates mind from pain.

It is worth remembering that even modern science speaks about patients' strong will helping in speedy recovery!

Our Sai preaches Shradha and Saburi – devotion and patience! For this, the foundation is faith. In Swami Vivekananda's words, "Faith, faith in ourselves, faith, faith in GOD! This is the secret of success!"

Our Gurus in astral form are here to help you heal. In all your efforts to get better, have faith, devotion and patience.

    Om Sai Ram!

  • The Natural elements yield to Sai Baba – a recount of Miracles

Here are a few incidents which elaborate that not only the living beings but also the powerful elements of nature are obedient to the word of Baba. One evening when darkness began to fall, heavy storm and heavy rain suddenly hit Shirdi. In half an hour the streets were flooded. The floodwaters inundated homes in low-lying areas.

The wheat flour and other food items that people had kept at home dissolved in the water. Unable to withstand the speed of the storm, the roofs were blown away. People came out of their homes in despair. Men, women and children were drenched in the pouring rain.

‘What are we going to do now and how do we escape from the disastrous storm and rain?’, worried the people of Shirdi. Crowds of cattle rushed towards their saviour Baba at the mosque. When they witnessed the miraculous scene of the cattle praying for Baba’s mercy at the gate of the mosque, it was then that the people came to their senses. Aren’t they beings with six senses, after all?

They realised the faith and reverence that even the cattle had that Baba was there to protect them and regretted not having it themselves. They followed the cattle and ran towards the mosque. Everyone called out to Baba ‘Save us, Baba!’ and took refuge in him. Baba looked at the people and cattle who had surrendered to him with compassion. Then he suddenly got up in a rage and came out of the mosque and stared at the sky.

Thunder, lightning, and ghastly storm were tossing and turning the whole town of Shirdi. His eyes reddened in rage. “Stop! Enough of your fury!” Baba roared towards the sky. “Who do you think you’re playing with? Don't you know that everyone here, including the cattle and plants of Shirdi, is under my protection?” Baba's voice sounded beyond the sound of thunder. The people were stunned at this sight.

The next moment a huge change appeared in the sky. Suddenly the downpour stopped. The storm turned into a gentle breeze, as if apologizing for its mistake. The people rejoiced and bowed to Baba. Then they slowly went home.

Baba then gently carrassed the cattle standing around him. Baba stood at the gate of the mosque as he looked with compassion on the people, cattle, reluctantly leaving. The full moon that adorned the sky, not only made the atmosphere peaceful, but also the hearts of the people.

Baba controlled not only the rain but also the fire. One day, people had gathered at the mosque. The mosque always had a fleck of fire burning. Suddenly, that fire started to blaze. The flames touched the top of the mosque. People were appalled to see this fire now spreading everywhere

Baba took his hand-whip known as Jhatka and struck it on a nearby pillar. He then roared, “Hmmm! Fire! Get down! What is the anguish about? I command you, get down immediately”! For every blow he struck on the pillars, the flames came down and gradually descended. Then without any fuss, it started burning normally. The disciples who were frozen in panic until then, were amazed. Realizing that Baba was also in control of the natural elements, they humbly worshiped him.

Our Beloved Sai, who controlled the storm and rain to protect the people of Shirdi who surrendered to him; would he now go without mercy for his devotees who are suffering in draught caused by lack of rain? Won't he shower his grace upon us by blessing us with rain to quench the thirst of his children? Let us all surrender with love at the foot of Sai and pray for rain. With Baba’s blessings, the sky will yield. Let nature flourish green.
